Nashville, Tenn. (August 30, 2016) - Last night via Facebook Live, platinum-selling country band and North Carolina natives, Parmalee announced that it will return to its roots to headline the second annual “Feels Like Carolina” concert at East Carolina University in the Minges Coliseum. Parmalee premiered its current single “Roots,” an anthemic homage to the band’s hometown, at the inaugural homecoming last year while headlining Minges Coliseum’s 8,000-seat arena. Parmalee has made the "Feels Like Carolina" concert an annual event as a tribute to its home state of North Carolina and as a way to thank the community for its years of support.

This year, the annual concert will be accompanied by fellow BBR Music Group artists, Grammy-nominated country duo Thompson Square and harmonic-newcomers, Runaway June. North Carolina native and local favorite, Luke Combs along with RCA Nashville artist Dee Jay Silver will also perform and round out the lineup.

"We had a blast last year and are so excited to return to our alma mater and make this an annual event," lead vocalist, Matt Thomas says as he reflects on last year's show. "We thought, what better way to thank the community that has stood behind us all these years. We are honored to call North Carolina home and can't wait to get back there and see all the familiar faces. Come on ya'll, it's gonna be a blast!"

Pre-sale tickets for the “Feels Like Carolina” concert are currently available for ECU students and alumni, as well as those who acquired the pre-sale code during the Facebook Live announcement. Tickets will be available to the public on Thursday, September 1. Additionally, a limited number of VIP tickets are available for purchase on a first come, first serve basis. The VIP tickets give fans a choice of a premium seating or a VIP Pit Pass for the concert. VIP tickets also include access to the exclusive “Musta Had a Good Time VIP Keg Party” with a private acoustic performance by Parmalee, a meet-n-greet pass/photo opportunity with the band, a commemorative event t-shirt and VIP Event Parking.
